Independence Hall, the most beautiful building in America.

The rooms on the second floor of this house is where Jefferson wrote his Declaration of Independence.

The $50 sampler from soup to nuts is a great value. I found this little BYOB gem on one of my Philly visits. It is thirteen stars.

The Betsy Ross house.

Franklin's final resting place. He would not approve of this waste of pennies.

Elfreth's Alley is an original Philly Street.

Christ's Church steeple. After the Declaration was read, the bells here were rung as were all the bells of Philadelphia.

The City Tavern. This recreated site is wonderful for its attention to detail. You can imagine Adams, Jefferson, Franklin and the rest talking a little treason or liberty in these rooms.

The picture above shows Washington's statue standing by the eternal flame. The flame burns in remembrance for the Revolutionary soldiers who fell for our Liberty. The Monument is in Washington Square Park just south of Independence Hall.
